Ricky Ponting, also known as “Punter,” is a former Australian cricketer born on December 19, 1974, in Launceston, Tasmania. He is 49 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs 75 kg. Ponting was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium bowler.
He made his international debut in One Day Internationals (ODIs) on February 15, 1995, against South Africa and in Test cricket on December 8, 1995, against Sri Lanka. He played his last international match in ODIs on February 19, 2012, and in Tests on December 3, 2012.
During his career, Ponting played for teams such as Tasmania, Somerset, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Mumbai Indians. He appeared in 168 Test matches, 375 ODIs, and 17 T20 Internationals, scoring 13,378 Test runs, 13,704 ODI runs, and 401 T20I runs. He made 41 centuries in Tests and 30 in ODIs.
